Read these rules well before posting and save both yourself and everyone else from having any future problems.

Welcome to Opposing Force 2 forums, this forum treats about the upcoming Half-Life 2 mod "Opposing Force 2", a sequel to the original expansion for Half-Life.

Since the user "Phoenix marine" did some mistakes we are now adding some new rules treating about Registration, please read them:

Registration:(very, VERY important)
That's something really important to follow, so PLEASE read:
-Don't do clones (Two users from the same person).
-Register yourself with your REAL email address, if you put something like adfasdf@afdfdasafd.com, you will be banned.
-If your confirmation email didn't appear within 24 hours, please send an email to matheus_graef@hotmail.com asking for user confirmation.
-"How do you know this isn't my email?" If the provider does not exist, then your email address doesn't exist, simple huh?

1. Posts'n'Threads:
- No hard insulting: We don't want users getting out of the forum because somebody insulted her/him.
- No spoilers about a game, a book, a movie, or anything. If you want to do it, use the [ spoiler ] tag.
- Treat other forum users how you would like to be treated yourself.
- The forum has an "edit" option, if you think you need to add or delete something in your post, feel free to do it.
- Posting links to illegaly obtained or/and copied softwares is PROHIBITED. Don't do it.
- Posting sexually explicit or disgusting images will be considerated a bannable post. If you are in doubt... Just don't post it!
- Don't post personal information that is not your own, like phone numbers, home adresses, or anything related to that.
- We won't tolarate racism in any way.
- We don't allow spam (I'm sure you know what's spam, right?)
- Don't abuse of the PM system.
- Swearing can be accepted for emphasis, but not to abuse using it in a topic or a topic title.
- Abusing of irrelevant or pointless replies or topics can be resulted in ban.
If you feel you are breaking any of the rules above on a post, edit the post as soon as you can. A good hint is double checking before posting, but since nobody does that, you'd rather edit your post.

2. Avatars and Signatures
- Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can't be greater than 150 pixels, the height no greater than 200 pixels, and the file size no more than 32 KB.
- For signatures; You can display only two images at a time. It's width can't be greater than 500 pixels, the height no greater than 300 pixels.
Don't write more than 5 lines in signature. And sometimes big letters are just annoying.
Signs that are pornographic, gore, spammy, racist, showing false personal info, illegal obtained links, posting info about copied softwares, or insulting an user WON'T be allowed.
If you break any of signatures rules, your signature will be edited, you will be warned, and at some cases the result will be ban.
-"O-m-g w-t-f" Signature not showing up on posts, this happens because you must check "Attach Signature" box on Post Options.

3. About the REPORT system:
-Select one of the 15 reasons the forum gives you, write down what he/she did, and give the link to the ocorrence, if you have time, please try inserting a screenshot of the ocorrence too. The administration will recieve your report, and will reply. Warns and/or bans can ocurr, if you are reporting a friend or someone else who is considered important for yourself , think twice before doing it.
-Do not use the REPORT on a new user, for example. Users that are not recognized to the forum's Community will start exiting if someone reports him for a 1st or 3rd post. For example. We will answer any report, that's for sure. But think before doing it. Abusing of the Report system can be resulted in warnings, at some cases, bans.
Then remember that you are not any moderator or admin.
If a member is massive reporting about someone, warnings and bans will follow him/her.

4. Bumping:
-Bumping is, basically, reviving a dead topic. Avoid doing it, unless you have a constructive criticism. You won't be banned, but if you abuse it, it's a new history.

5. About User Rankings...
-User Ranks are basically rankings user will recieve (Ex.: Captain) when the same reaches a certain quantity of posts (Ex.: 500). But there are certain rules based on the respect of the system and other users.
- You cannot refer yourself as "More respectable" only because of a high rank you have recieved.
- You cannot refer to other users as "minimal" because of a lower rank they have.
- Insults that are refered to an user because of a minor rank are going to be treaten as warnings and bans.
