PostSubject: The Orange Box Engine question and StarFilter Shader   Wed Aug 13, 2008 8:49 pm

Excuse me, MenteR, but this mod will use the Episode 2 (Orange Box) engine? Because in the early pictures I didn't saw the "ALT" written in the alternate fire or a icon to the Night Vision, like in EP.2 or the OB version of XBOX 360.
And my question is: will this mod use the EP.2 engine??? IF WON'T, PLEASE GUARANTEE THAT THE PLATINIUM VERSION WILL INCLUDE THE "ALT", NIGHT VISION ICON AND THE MORE IMPORTANT, THE SHADOWS REFLECTIONS!!!!

As for the StarFilter Shader, This is a bloom wich is used in Bioshock. And can't you put the StarFilter shader in the Platinium version? (PS: This shader can be found on SMOD)

Thanks for the attention!

Okay, Star-Filter Bloom is some kind of heavy lighting in the game: All the lights of the game get REAAAAAAALY bright and wen the light get reflected or seen normaly, the light will have a star shape and will be realy bright, like the "Holofotes" (portuguese)
lighting.
For a example, see this video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRnV1bz0lNA

ahh, also the thing I am saying that is left is:
-The "picture" display for each ammo (ex: the picture display for shotgun like in EP.2)
-The "ALT" on the alterate fire
-The Night Vision Pcture
-The Night Vision Reflections to a body (like in EP.2)

And just for a add, add the StarFilter Bloom!!!

Well, but there is MAYBE a way to you to put a StarFilter Bloom and create a "shader" folder, like in SMOD!!

Well, I just hope that you can add a option to a StarFilter Bloom!
